About Electrical Sensei Academy

Electrical Sensei Academy was built for electrical engineers, diploma holders, students, and power professionals. Our mission is simple: to break down complex power systems, substation design, protection schemes, and international standards into clear, real-world engineering intuition.

Inspired by Albert Einstein’s famous words—“If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough”—we focus on explaining how things actually work on site, avoiding dry, textbook-only definitions.

Who is behind the ESA?

Electrical Sensei Academy is founded and operated by Sensei Sentinel, a practicing power systems engineer with years of hands-on experience in designing and sizing electrical substations for industrial plants, commercial infrastructure, and power distribution grids.

Note on Author Persona: To comply with corporate policy and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) associated with active utility projects, technical content on this blog is published under the professional pseudonym Sensei Sentinel. All calculations, code interpretations, and design rules are independently verified against current industry standards.

My journey began in 2021 with a basic blog (smartyengineer.blogspot.com), driven by a simple goal: share what I was learning in the easiest way possible.

Our Philosophy

Learning electrical engineering isn’t about memorizing formulas—it’s about understanding why systems behave the way they do when energized.

Our Vision

To make practical, real-world electrical engineering simple, intuitive, and accessible to every student and engineer worldwide.
